Michael Berryhill has been involved in the Martial Arts since 1991.
He recieved his Black Belt in 1995 under Mr. Dorsey.
Sensei Mike was offered a job at the local YMCA teaching children karate for a program through Houston.
The program went out of business, so Sensei Mike and his wife opened a karate school in August 1998.
Young Dragons Karate Acadmey. Teaching at a daycare for 7 years. The students outgrew the school
so he moved to new location and created TEXAS KARATE ACADEMY.
Received his 2nd Degree in 2000 under Mr. Scott Messina, and Sifu John Palacios.
In 2001 Sensei Mike went to Vienna Austria after winning fights in Chicago and Kentucky. To represent the United States National Karate team.
Recieved his 3rd Degree in 2005 under Dr. Terry Free 8th Degree / TSMA board of regents and Sifu John Palcios.
Mike Berryhill has competed in Martial Arts for 11 years. Winning local and nationally rated tournaments
