Michael Berryhill has been involved in the Martial Arts since 1991.

He recieved his Black Belt in 1995 under Mr. Dorsey.

Sensei Mike took a job offer at the local YMCA teaching children karate for a program through Houston.

The program went out of business, so Sensei Mike and his wife opened a karate school in August 1998.

Started Young Dragons Karate Academy. Teaching for 9 years and out growing the school. In Sept 2008

 TEXAS KARATE ACADEMY was formed.

Received his 2nd Degree in 2000 under  Shihan Scott Messina, and Sifu John Palacios.

In 2001 Sensei Mike went to Vienna Austria after winning fights in Chicago and Kentucky.

To represent the United States National Karate team.

Recieved his 3rd Degree in 2005 under Dr. Terry Free 8th Degree / TSMA board of regents and Sifu John Palcios.

Mike Berryhill has competed in Martial Arts for 11 years. Winning local and nationally rated tournaments.

Voted Best Male Black Belt

Competitor of the year.

Started  Amatuer Mixed Martial Arts  Texas Top Team
